| At the limits of the plain of Aquitaine and of the Massif Central, in the département of the Lot, the canton of Lalbenque, 600km south of Paris, 100km north of Toulouse, enjoys a privileged geographical position. Layers of limestone form "Les Causses du Quercy" , the limestone plateaux of the region. |
|
The landscape is structured into coombs (small fertile valleys favouring agriculture) and of "pech" , small hills whose soils are of low fertility and where the habitations have been built. |
