Situated on a promontory in a region of coombs and ridges the village is dispersed over the plateau.

The Chateau de Flaujac Poujols
(private)

The origin of the present chateau probably dates back to a gallo-romain establishment called Villa de Favius, hence the name Flaujac. All that remains are some large underground vaulted water tanks, constructions characteristic of that distant epoch, near the chais. This villa was dominated by a watch-tower, (called in ancient texts its "lair"), which made possible a complete surveillance of all the surrounding lands as far as Arcambal on the Lot. Gallo-roman stone tombs have been found in the vicinity. The château was built beside the old watch-tower (of which no mention is made after the 13th century.) A 16th century chronicle records that the whole château is new and that there are some beautiful windows to be seen there.

St Martin's Church

is separated from the village by a valley and dates from the 19th century. It is in the shape of a latin cross and the nave and flat apse covered with rib-vaults. Statue of St. Jacques in polychrome stone.

In the neighbouring hamlet of Pissepourcel can be seen a well-preserved "travail à bestiaux", the wooden frame used to immobilise an ox during shoeing.
